Local, mutual The Hanley Building Society is jumping with joy having being awarded another coveted accolade. Having already been announced as finalists in The 2007/2008 Midlands Excellence European Foundation of Quality Management awards (EFQM), The Hanley was pleased to receive the prestigious award for Most Improved Organisation presented by Martin Johnson CBE at a glitzy award Ceremony held at the ICC in Birmingham. The Hanley in only their second year of the Midlands Excellence program we’re delighted to receive an outstanding award. The Hanley is a distinctive business with a blossoming reputation that clearly punches above its weight, both nationally and across the Midlands region" The award recognises the continued and rapid development The Hanley has undertaken since last years Midlands Excellence submission where they were first awarded IiE status. This year, The Hanley has improved at such a successful rate they found themselves up against competition for the final award with a number of companies who’d been vying for the award for nearly a decade. The Hanley was 1 of only 10 finalists who were selected as finalists from companies across the East and West Midlands.
