Prince's Trust

The Hanley has been supporting the Prince's Trust for many years and our main role is to act as mentors for young business people aged 18 - 30 years as they start up in business. We provide a wide variety of advice and guidance to help them get their business of the ground and continue to support them during the first eighteen months.

The Prince's Trust assist the start up of such businesses with low interest loans of up to £5,000 repayable over a 3 year period and offer legal, marketing and accounting advice. Over the last three years 55% of businesses are still trading.

The Society also sponsors the Trust's annual Golf Day and to date have raised approximately £15,000.

Our support was recognised on July 15th 2006 when on behalf of the Society, two members of staff were invited to attend the Prince's Trust 30th Anniversary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace where they met HRH Prince Charles.
