Have you ever been tempted to run an actual half marathon? Maybe the thought of 13.1 miles puts you off, so how about running in a relay with your friends or work colleagues?

This year The Hanley Building Society is sponsoring the Potters-Arf Marathon on Sunday 8th June 2008. The race itself takes you around Stoke-on-Trent with the start and finish line in Hanley Town Centre.

Entrants to the race can either run the full 13.1 miles or alternatively run as part of a relay team which has sections ranging between 1.5 and 4.5 miles.

The half marathon has two nominated charity partners, Breath of Life and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. The Hanley staff will be running for Breath of Life, maybe you have a charity you support throughout the year, or perhaps you’ve always wanted to do something you feel worthwhile? What about racing your friends or work colleagues to prove who the best is!!!
