Staffordshire based building society The Hanley has this week recognised 40 years of service by Sandra Glover. Sandra who joined The Hanley in 1970 began her career as a Branch Cashier before going on to lead the Society’s Savings administration. Paying tribute to Sandra’s 40 years of service is her Senior Manager, David Lownds.

"Sandra is a highly valued member of the Hanley team. Her commitment to Society’s members and colleagues over the past forty years is absolutely fantastic. At The Hanley our staff are incredibly important to us, their expertise and professionalism is one of the main reasons that our business continues to grow and it’s people like Sandra that are great ambassadors for the Society."

Sandra commented "I have thoroughly enjoyed my 40 years at The Hanley. The Society has undergone many changes during my career however providing outstanding customer service remains as important today as it did in 1970 and I look forward to working at The Hanley for a good while yet."

As part of her long service award, Sandra received a Sphere of Life necklace and a cheque for £100 from Chief Executive, David Webster
