At The Hanley we have a strong commitment to learning and development and believe that investing in every member of staff is essential to our continued success.

We have a comprehensive induction programme to ensure that our staff receive the knowledge and understanding for their role. Learning and development needs are identified and supported by use of individual training plans.

The Society supports and offers financial assistance to staff who wish to study for professional qualifications where appropriate. We also place emphasis on continual professional development and Training and Competency Schemes.

Our approach to training and development is supported by our Investors in People status, which is an award made to organisations that demonstrate the training and development of staff to meet their business goals.
