Assessing your Applications

Once we receive your case we will:

  1. Advise you once we have received your application
  2. If any documentation is missing your case will be placed into “pending” until we have the required information
  3. Our underwriters we carry out a brief assessment of your application and forward the costings, plans & planning permission to a surveyor to be validated
  4. The Society will follow the advice of the surveyor and if there is any discrepancy in the costings we may be unable to proceed with your application
  5. If the costings are approved we will carry out a full underwriting assessment of your application in accordance with the Society’s lending criteria
  6. Upon receipt of a satisfactory valuation and any outstanding information your mortgage offer will be issued
