Assessing your Applications
Once we receive your case we will:
- Advise you once we have received your application
- If any documentation is missing your case will be placed into “pending” until we have the required information
- Our underwriters we carry out a brief assessment of your application and forward the costings, plans & planning permission to a surveyor to be validated
- The Society will follow the advice of the surveyor and if there is any discrepancy in the costings we may be unable to proceed with your application
- If the costings are approved we will carry out a full underwriting assessment of your application in accordance with the Society’s lending criteria
- Upon receipt of a satisfactory valuation and any outstanding information your mortgage offer will be issued
