Product Manager (Full Time 35 hours per week)

Purpose of Role

  • Working alongside our Head of Products & Marketing (‘HoP&M’) to deliver a strong set of savings and mortgage products and services, to support the growth objectives within the Society’s Corporate Plan.
  • Ensuring you work closely as a team member to deliver a first class, unforgettable customer experience, putting the customer at the heart of what we do

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management, customer journeys and product life cycles across the Society’s savings and mortgage products.
  • Design new products which deliver fair value to customers and the Society.
  • Deliver excellent consumer outcomes and customer experience. •
  • Support the HoP&M with interest rate scenario planning.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to review product pricing and provide input into financial forecasts.
  • Work with the Change management team to ensure IT systems are supportive of product development.
  • Any other duties as required by the Head of Products & Marketing that may from time to time be allocated and that are commensurate with the grading of the post.
  • Ensure that staff and members’ data is secure, accurate and used correctly in line the Society GDPR policy and standards. Adhere to the Society Financial Crime Policy, the controls and report any internal or external incidents of actual or suspected fraud, money laundering or financial crime, either in accordance with the internal money laundering process (Suspicious Activities Report) or via the Society’s Whistleblowing Policy. Complete and pass an annual dedicated financial crime and bribery prevention computer-based training test.

Skills and Experience

  • Have excellent knowledge of MCOBS, BCOBS and ISA regulations gained from operating in UK financial services.

Person Specs

Essential

  • 3 A levels grades A-C.
  • Good numerical, written and verbal communication.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Desirable

  • Undergraduate Degree
