We want to inform our valued members of an upcoming change to our service locations.

Our Cheadle Agency, located within the Donald Cope estate agency, will be closing on Friday, 20th December 2024, at 2pm. This change is due to the conclusion of our agreement with Donald Cope, and we are unable to continue operations at this location.

To support members who have used our Cheadle agency’s counter services over the past year, we’ve prepared a set of helpful questions and answers below to guide you through this transition and explain the continued services available to you.

What are my options after the closure?

You can continue to manage your accounts through our online and mobile banking services or by post. For those who prefer in-person services, our Longton branch, which is just 8 miles from Cheadle, will be happy to assist. If you would like to register for Online Banking, you can easily do so online or by calling us on 01782 255000.

Deposits and withdrawals can be made at any of our branches, including Longton. Cheque deposits can also be sent to us by post addressed to Hanley Economic Building Society.
