We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Vanessa Hunt as our new Head of Sales, further strengthening Hanley Economic Building Society’s leadership team.

Vanessa brings over a decade of experience in the mortgage and financial services sector. Most recently, she served as Key Account Manager at Harpenden Building Society, where she led the business development team and managed key intermediary relationships. Her career also includes time as a Mortgage and Protection Consultant at Countrywide Mortgage Services, helping clients secure tailored lending and protection solutions.

In her new role, Vanessa will:

• Shape and deliver Hanley’s sales strategy
• Drive improvements to lending processes
• Build stronger connections across the broker community
• Enhance flexibility within our lending and risk framework

Working closely with internal teams, Vanessa will ensure we continue to provide consistent, high-quality service to our partners and customers.
