Eligibility
• You must be a UK registered Limited Company, Professional Partnership, Registered Charity or Pension Fund.
Deposits
• Minimum opening deposit: £1,000.00.
•Maximum account balance: £300,000.00.
•You can add to your account at any time subject to the maximum investment limit.

•You can open this account in branch, or via the post.
•Application form is available in branch or on our website.
•Once opened, you can manage the account in branch and via the post.
Identification
To comply with Money Laundering Regulations we will require verification of your organisation if it has been incorporated for less than 6 months. We are also required to verify the identity of each individual person appointed to operate the account and anyone who owns or controls more than 25% of the business capital, profit or voting rights.
No withdrawals are permitted before the maturity date.
Withdrawal Limits
Withdrawals may be subject to operational limits, including cash, cheque and electronic payment limits. Details are available on request, in branch and on our website.
What happens when the account matures?
Approximately 14-28 days before maturity, we will write to you explaining your available options.
At maturity you may:
•Transfer the balance to a new Fixed Rate Bond savings account with the Society (subject to availability).
•Transfer the balance to an existing savings account with the Society.
•Withdraw the funds.
If we do not receive your instructions, we will act in accordance with the maturity provisions set out in the account terms.
The tax treatment of savings interest depends on your individual circumstances and may change in the future. You may need to pay tax on interest earned above your Personal Savings Allowance. For further information, please visit www.gov.uk.
Your eligible deposits with Hanley Economic Building Society are protected up to £120,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. Any deposits you hold above the limit are unlikely to be covered. Further information is available at www.fscs.org.uk.
