Celebrating Excellence Across Staffordshire
The Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards are a prestigious annual celebration of excellence, innovation, and resilience across the region’s business community. With over 15 categories, the awards shine a spotlight on organisations that go above and beyond to make a difference. The Responsible Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Rydale Roofing, specifically honours businesses and charities that demonstrate outstanding social responsibility, ethical practices, and community engagement.
A Night to Remember at Uttoxeter Racecourse
This year’s awards ceremony took place at the iconic Uttoxeter Racecourse, marking the 10th anniversary of the event. It brought together hundreds of business leaders, community champions, and innovators from across Staffordshire for an evening of celebration and inspiration.
Honouring Our Fellow Finalists
We were honoured to be shortlisted alongside three incredible organisations: Alice Charity, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and Wavemaker Stoke—with Wavemaker taking home the award. Congratulations to them on a well-deserved win, and well done to all the finalists for the incredible work they do in our communities.
Making a Difference Through Community Initiatives
At Hanley Economic, our nomination reflects the collective efforts of our colleagues and the impact of our community initiatives. In 2024, we launched the Hanley at Home Fund in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire and Shropshire. This fund has already awarded over £29,000 in grants to local charities focused on independent living, housing stability, and financial literacy. Read more on the Hanley at Home Fund here.
Volunteering with Heart: 188 Days and Counting
In addition, our team has gone above and beyond in giving back. To mark our 170th anniversary, we set a goal of completing 170 volunteering days—and we’re proud to say we exceeded that, reaching 188 days. From supporting food banks and conservation projects to helping vulnerable groups across Staffordshire. Hanley colleagues recently helped us achieve this target by climbing Snowdon, read more.
